Nestled away in the landscape of France is the quaint, beautiful town of Strasbourg, France. This is an excellent visit if you want the culture of France without the crowds of Paris. The food is delicious, the scenery is divine and the people are kind. I could walk around for hours here.
Time is limited though, so I spent the afternoon walking around town feeling like I was a character in The Beauty and the Beast. That night, there was glühwein and flammkuchen (similar to a thin crust pizza). Before leaving the next morning, I had stuffed Belgian waffles because... that's what you're supposed to do, right?
Strasbourg has been one of my favorite parts of Europe so far. And there is still much to explore!
