The world is small and so am I.

From birth, I've always had a passport. It was as natural to me as having blonde hair or cereal for breakfast. Since working more and saving my pennies (or maybe pure procrastination), I let mine expire. After the date passed, I realized I was limited in where I could go or what I could do. The weight of shrinking dreams and possible adventures was unfamiliar. I felt lost. The days of traveling were over and the task of renewal was looming. As part of my identity for so long, the feeling of being trapped in one place was overwhelming.

But finally! While planning a trip with my sister was the motivation, I pushed to renew and now it's back! I literally jumped for joy when the little envelope with my new passport arrived in the mail. I feel freer, lighter, and more "me" than I have in a long time. And I'm so excited to know that my dreams of foreign destinations and excursions are no longer unattainable but soon to be realities. Watch out world! I'm coming for you!
