Models and Shark Tanks

Finally, back in town to stay! I feel like I've been gone for longer than I was. Can I say, as much fun as I've had being with my family or at Imaging USA, it's nice to be home!

Last week, I was at a conference in Atlanta along with 10,000+ photographers. This was my first time going and it was fantastic! I met such great people and had some new experiences. Now I can say, "You know you're at a photographer conference when (fill in the blank)-- there are models everywhere!"

Most of the time the weather looked like this

But, by the end of the trip it ended up looking like this

Gorgeous!

There were lots of sessions and parties to go to during the week. I got to experiment with a new lighting system at a pre-conference workshop with Lou Freeman.

My model was rather silly

Here was another lighting set up we had. I really enjoyed the system we used. Hope to use it again one day!

I didn't get any photos of the session because, let's face it, that's a little boring for a blog post. The final night there, we had a party at the Georgia Aquarium. I haven't been to many aquariums in my life. In fact, the only one I've been to was a kid's aquarium last year. It was still fascinating but somehow a giant tank with a veiwing room beats the kid's aquarium by lightyears or should I say, leagues?
