Finally, the sun has come out and the rain has ceased! What a gorgeous day it turned out to be too. I mean, really! It was a perfect day to go for a walk and breathe in the fresh fall air. On my small journey, I found a small garden off of this trail. Apparently, the Awareness Garden in Lynchburg is well known but I have not heard of it before today. It was quite beautiful and peaceful.
As the sun was setting, it stretched across the gardens and made the trees longer somehow.
In the middle of the garden is a fountain with benches surrounding it-- they were pretty bare, not interesting enough to take a photo. But, I got this one!

There were also a few benches around the outskirts of the garden where one could sit.

I walked a little deeper into the woods as the sun followed. It left a small trail through the trees. Here, I realized that I don't think I can ever live in a state where it rains 80% of the time.
